Our aim is to provide a balanced curriculum of subject content and personalised learning for students of all ages and abilities. This will include experiences in two dimensional studies such as Drawing & painting, Printmaking, Mixed media and Design (including CAD) and three dimensional studies including ceramics, card construction and sculpture.
Pupils will be expected to build on class work via homework tasks, visits to local galleries and exploring places of interest to inform or inspire their art.
Throughout the year, Art staff will provide after-school opportunities to assist in the development of individual needs through various focused workshops e.g. clay work, creative crafts, Photoshop workshops.
At Broadgreen International, we encourage students to promote their art work through public display, exhibitions and participating in numerous competitions.
Click on the KS3, KS4 and KS5 links for a more in-depth outline of the courses we run.
International Open Evening
In the summer term school proudly opens its doors to parents and pupils to experience the annual International Evening. Departments each select a country and convert their classrooms and corridors with displays and artefacts embracing international cultures.
