Geography - KS3
"Geography is the subject that holds the key to our future!" Michael Palin
The Geography Key Stage 3 curriculum at Broadgreen International School aims to provide pupils with an opportunity to investigate and explore the world in which live, work and play. We offer a contemporary curriculum that presents pupils with the chance to develop their knowledge and understanding of the issues that will affect them and others in our global community. Hopefully pupils will be aware of the role they have to play as global citizens and how the actions they take can have both positive and negative impacts on the planet, its people, animals and environments. The units of study for investigation have been designed to carefully and thoroughly meet the requirements of the National Curriculum for Geography. The staff in the department strive to make sure all pupils are excited to learn and make progress.
With ever increasing demands at GCSE level our curriculum has been designed to meet these changes and prepare pupils for the assessment that concludes their GCSE studies.
Below is a summary of the topics covered across Key Stage 3 (to follow).
